Styling comments in WordPress

A few months ago, I added Gravatars to the comments section but just recently noticed an issue. In my search to fix the problem, I came across another way to spruce up the comments by styling them based on the comments’ writer. There are several ways to do it by modifying code or by use of a plugin. Here were the ones I test-drove, though I’m sure there’s even more out there to try.

After several tests, I finally decided on the one that has a specific style for the author of the post and also alternating comments styles. To do this, I used a combo of the options above and tweaked them. Added with the Gravatars, our comments section is looking pretty good, if I do say so myself.

Got anything to say? Go ahead and leave a comment!
